Kenlyn and Bethany were married on a crisp and sunny fall day in Michigan. The morning was frosty and clear and we met them at a gorgeous pond to photograph a few portraits, the bridal party and the family.
The ceremony was a classic church ceremony, and the reception at a gym nearby. Her colors of navy, white and green were so fresh and beautiful! The bouquets were just breathtaking with ranunculus, anemone, succulents and hydrangeas. And don’t miss the cake- that was a masterpiece! I loved all the little succulents and eucalyptus on the tables.
Guests were greeted at the reception with iced coffee and cider, served in pretty personalized glass mugs which doubled as favors. At the tables were the most delicious little blueberry cheesecake parfaits. ( if you can’t tell, food is about my favourite part of weddings :):) The apple dumpling desserts for perfect for autumn.
The couple, the bridal party and Curtis and I drove to the Lake Erie shore for more photos after the reception. That was a dream come true for me to shoot at the shore! The navy blue bridesmaids dresses went perfectly with the sand, the water and the golden sunlight. Her bouquets were just breathtaking with ranunculus, anemone, succulents and hydrangeas.
{{ This wedding was special to my husband and I because Kenlyn is my husband’s cousin, and he was best man in in our own wedding. We had a wedding in Indiana the day before, so after that one we drove several hours to Michigan, slept for a few hours, and were up again before daylight to get ready for the next. Quick funny story- in our sleep deprived state that morning, Curtis made coffee using instant coffee instead of grounds. Which of course made it 5+ times stronger than usual- and we drank it and never knew it until someone staying at the same house informed us later at the wedding!!}}
