The first wedding of 2020 for Higher Focus Images was this absolutely gorgeous one! Curtis and Laura were married on a snowy day in Perry County, only a short drive from where we live. It started out very dark and gray, with leaden skies- then suddenly it started snowing and everything was white almost instantly! We were so happy it did because her colors of rose and blue were breathtaking with all that snow for a background. And those florals… I cannot get over how beautiful they were. Laura arranged them herself! The photos at the park did get cut a little short when there was just too much snow coming down and everyone was getting too cold! But I could have photographed everything all day.

Curtis and Laura were such a fun sweet couple. He had proposed in the most romantic way ever, with candles and everything underneath the stars, and I know from their engagement session that they laugh together a lot! And that’s the secret to a really good marriage- stay romantic, and laugh together.

The reception was simple and elegant. It was all so beautiful!!
