Jordan and Regina

June 13, 2020 Accident, Maryland

Jordan and Regina were friends since they were in elementary school and as they grew older they became more than friends! When Jordan was 17 his father had a discussion with him about his interest in Regina and he informed his dad that he knew he was going to marry that girl. On a lovely day in June standing in front of friends and family he made good on that promise!  There was love and joy, smiles and tears, as the day finally arrived when they would become husband and wife.

They shared an emotional first look beside a pond on a property Jordan’s family owned. We took some of their portraits there and then I convinced them to follow me to the top of a hill where there was beautiful long grass. Regina climbed that hill in her heels!  It was a joy to watch the way they interacted. Jordan’s love and concern for his bride was so sweet.

The ceremony was short but deeply meaningful. As they read their vows to each other many guests teared up,  including me. The reception was held in a gym that was turned romantic with glowing string lights and music.  Food was provided by family and friends,  and the Rolling Pin Bakery where Regina worked, made a beautiful rose gold cake.

The highlight of the reception was the money race, with the bridesmaids and groomsmen competing to see who could collect the most cash for the newlyweds! The groomsmen were the lucky winners  and had the privilege of smashing cake into the girls’ faces 🙂

Jordan and Regina, it was a privilege to capture your beautiful day. May God bless your marriage!
