On a bright spring day with beautiful sunshine and a crisp blue sky Jordan and Alea said I do!
When I found out the reception was going to be at The Silk Mill on Main I was so excited! I’ve seen so many beautiful photos from that venue and it did not disappoint. The day began with detail photos and Alea getting ready at the Silk Mill. Her details were so classy and all went together so well. Her mom, sister and bridesmaids were all there to help her into her dress and put on the finishing touches.
Jordan was waiting for her on a woodsy lane at a local reservoir, looking very classy himself in a blue suit and a floral tie. It always adds so much to photos when the groom’s outfit is carefully thought out as well!
There was a bit of a breeze blowing so it was chilly, but whenever we found a secluded spot the sun would warm us up again. We spent a little while walking around the property for the bride and groom’s portraits, then the bridal party and family joined us for theirs. Their bridal party was a fun bunch! The bridesmaid’s soft silvery lavender dresses were complemented beautifully by the rose, lisianthus and eucalyptus bouquets, made by Mabel Sensenig.
The ceremony was held at the bride’s home church and then it was back to the Silk Mill for the reception! It was so, so perfect and I could hardly get done photographing it! The centerpieces on the tables were handmade by the bride’s father. With all the glass and candles and lights everything just sparkled!
Rock ‘n’ J Barbecue provided an absolutely delicious meal and the best part of the whole reception ( in my opinion 🙂 ) was the ice cream bar from Fox Meadows. They even had Honey Lavender, my favorite flavor!
At the end of the day, family and friends poured outside to see them off into a lovely golden sunset. Jordan and Alea, your whole day was so gorgeous and it was such an honor to be your photographers!
