With rain, sunshine and even a little sleet, this wedding day was a real April day! But nothing dampened the excitement and joy that surrounded Josh and Kaylah.
The day started with detail and getting ready photos at Kaylah’s house. The plan was for the couple to share a first look outside, but it was still raining at that time so it ended up happening on the porch. Kaylah’s dad escorted her out to meet her groom. Josh’s response to seeing his bride was just the sweetest, and it was such an emotional moment for everyone.
Just after we left for the portrait location, the rain stopped, and the rest of the day it held out perfectly- the weather held out for every time we needed to take photos!
Josh and Kaylah were so easy to photograph- they were so happy to be getting married and their love shines through in all their photos. I barely had to coach them into poses- they were naturals at it!
The portraits were done at the beautiful Hershey Founders Hall. The white marble was the perfect backdrop for the rose and gray colors. It was chilly and windy, but the bridal party were good sports 🙂
Family photos and a few more bridal party photos were done at Lititz Springs Park.
The reception at Mountain Trail Farm was such a beautiful one! The appetizer table in the lower barn was amazing, and I’m still a bit disappointed I didn’t get a chance to taste it 🙂 The caterers served an incredible meal.
The sun came out beautifully in the evening and we went outside for a few photos beside the pond.
The day ended with a confetti exit and the newlyweds drove off into the sunset.
Josh and Kaylah, your wedding day was such a joy to photograph! Best wishes for your marriage!
