It was an easy yes from me when Jalisa reached out about us photographing her and Joe’s wedding! We photographed her sister’s wedding last June and I knew this would be a fun one too. And I was right:)
Their wedding day was a beautiful one, so refreshing after many rainy spring days. We drove out to the area the night before and I got to photograph her details with plenty of time. Jalisa chose a simple black and white theme and it looked amazing.
When Joe arrived at the bride’s home, they exchanged letters and read them before turning around to see each other. Next stop was portraits at Diamond Park. The sun came out and it was so gorgeous! Anyone whom I have photographed knows that I get a little crazy about good light 🙂
Family and friends arranged the florals and made the meal, and they did an amazing job!
How classy is this reception!? This building may be a humble one, but it has a beautifully lit reception space that is always a joy to shoot in.
The predicted thunderstorms did not arrive and we were able to spend a few more minutes taking photos beside the creek. All the morning nerves were gone and these two were so easy to photograph 🙂
Blessings to you two!
light+ love, Michelle
