We welcomed Callan Giovanni into our lives on Easter Sunday morning, April 9th. He weighed 7 lbs 13 oz and was 20 1/4 inches long. He was born at home and we were so grateful for the peaceful birth experience we had!

I had intended to get out my camera right away and document all the little details, but I was feeling a little weaker than I expected, so I asked Kaylyn from Heart of Grace photography to come over the next morning and take a few photos. I will forever treasure those!

I did the rest of Callan’s photos myself ( except for our family photos, thanks to Susie Marks for those! -edited by me)

The nice thing about doing all these myself was that I was able to just do a few photos whenever he was sleeping soundly!
