My plan for the fall was one wedding a month… But then I got David and Cindy’s inquiry and I just couldn’t say no! We love to travel for weddings and I knew they would be a wonderful couple to work with and I was right 🙂 I had met Cindy at two weddings prior to this and it was such an honor that they wanted us to fly to Kansas to celebrate with them!
The wedding day gave us the most lovely autumn weather Kansas had to offer- sunny, balmy and barely a breeze ( apparently Kansas is usually windy? :)) It was a perfect day from beginning to end .
David and Cindy’s story is such a beautiful God- scripted one. They were both just radiating joy and yes I teared up behind my camera occasionally! Cindy’s dress is another fun story. A few years ago, before she even met David, she saw this dress on Ebay listed far below the manufacturer’s price. She bid on it, thinking that she wouldn’t get it and if she did, she would resell it. Well Cindy won the auction and never sold the dress as planned.. she wore it on her own wedding day!
David is a Texas cowboy and Cindy’s style is elegant. She combined the two styles so well for their wedding day! Their reception meal was a nod to their Russian Mennonite heritage, with launche sandwiches and soup. Dessert was an array of cheesecakes, cakes and biscotti.
Enjoy this little peek at their day!
David & Cindy- we couldn’t be happier for you! Getting to know you and capture your day was an honor. God bless your marriage!
