On a gray, misty December morning, weeks of planning and months of dreaming came to a conclusion in the wedding of Jesse and Rosella! We had a wonderful time getting to know them at their state capitol engagement session, and we were really looking forward to their wedding day. The small town of East Berlin provided great backdrops for the bridal portraits and a few with the bridal party- until it started raining. Then it poured down and did not let up until late afternoon! So we went to the church and finished under the carport. But even that unfortunate event did not dampen their smiles!

The bridesmaids wore shades of lavender and purple. It was so pretty, especially with the stunning bouquets the girls carried! The reception was airy and elegant with lots of white and green. Also some of you might recognize one bridesmaid- Kari Boll of Kari B. Photography. She does such beautiful work herself and it was an honor to photograph her close friend’s wedding!

Jesse and Rosella, hopefully the saying is true- a rainy wedding means you’re marriage will be strong, because a knot tied when wet is extremely hard to untie!
