This blog post is one I’ve been looking forward to posting for awhile! It’s a long one but worth the scroll- it was such a beautiful day!
The day before Duane and Kelsey’s wedding, the forecast changed to what looked like an all – day rain. I will admit I stressed out about it a little as I tried to make decisions on what to do! We decided to change of the timeline and try to do all the portraits before the worst of the rain started. That morning, the forecast kept changing – first rain, then no rain, then light rain- I finally gave up changing our plans and decided to just go with what we had!
We started out with Duane and Kelsey sharing a first look and a few quiet moments on the front porch of White Chimneys. And then the rain held off the rest of the morning, except for a few sprinkled on the bridal party! It was such an answer to prayer.
I absolutely loved the shade of blue Kelsey chose for her bridesmaids! It went so well with the portrait location.
After the portraits, we went back to the place the girls were getting ready at and refreshed and got a few “getting ready” photos. So these aren’t exactly in chronological order:)
Newlywed photos… My favorite part of the day.
Duane & Kelsey, it’s been so good to get to know you and photograph your day! Blessings to you!
