Joel and Lori planned a beautiful early September backyard wedding at her parent’s home, with an outdoor ceremony and a tented reception. However, the forecast changed literally that morning and an all-day kind of rain settled in! It poured as we photographed details and getting ready and the family finished last minute details. We had a few breaks and were able to get portraits done, but then it was raining again… a decision had to be made on what to do, and Lori was determined not to give up on that outdoor ceremony! The timeline was pushed back a bit and finally the guests were seated as it continued to sprinkle. But praise the Lord, the rain stopped and the whole ceremony was able to be held outside!

Lori’s chosen colors and florals were a gorgeous end of summer combination. There were so many fun details throughout the day!
