Chad and Ivy

November 7, 2020 Lebanon PA

Chad and Ivy’s wedding was on the most sunny, warm November day they could have wished for! We started out at Ivy’s apartment with her getting ready photos and her beautiful details. I always recommend taking time for those detail photos- before the shoes get dirty, the perfume is gone or you lose the invitation, so they’ll live forever in your wedding album!

Ivy decided to do a first look with her bridesmaids and it was so fun! Every bride needs friends to fuss over you on your wedding day 🙂 The girl’s dresses were such a beautiful shade of grey with an elegant sheer overlay and the white and purple flowers complemented them perfectly.

Chad and Ivy shared their first look under the colorful autumn trees along the lane. We started out with portraits at the neighbors barn and then met the bridal party at one of the farm field lanes. They have such a fun group of friends! Trucks were a central theme of the day as that is Chad’s family occupation. He and his co drivers had all their trucks at the wedding venue, so of course we had to do some pictures with those!

Ivy walked up the aisle escorted by her mom, carrying her bouquet with a tag attached with a photo of her father, who passed on several years ago. A beautiful memorial display was set up in his honor, and tears were shed as his presence was keenly missed. Chad’s grandfather performed the ceremony.

The reception was beautifully decorated with purple and grey, with lots of glowy light and candles. The meal was catered by Country Cooks Catering & Bakery and it was absolutely amazing! The pulled pork was perfection. Dessert was a variety of delicious pies. ( I have to say that one of my favorite parts of wedding receptions is getting to enjoy the wedding meals! 🙂 )
After the reception, we went outside with the bridal party to grab a few more photos with the semis. The newlyweds ended up signing their marriage license on the back of one of the semis which was quite fitting for them.

Blessings on your marriage, Chad and Ivy!

I think it’s safe to say this little princess nearly stole the show!
